“I wanted to play, but I couldn't. I was stuck. A blockage showed up during the day. Day 3 systemic movement. The day of the child.

I realised that as a 5 year old girl I was stuck, entangled. It took place on an unconscious level. I really had no idea. Now that I have seen it, looked at it and felt it, I can explain how it has manifested itself at different times in my life.

Very valuable for me was the exercise to rewrite my story, which allowed me to follow the energy of playing and discovering in freedom. It is time to continue this and choose to play, discover and exercise.

“My first day of the Systemic Movements master course. Follow your feet, body, arms and feel it flowing. Where are the movements going? My feet go and my head is still ‘on’. Thoughts like ‘Why are they doing this, am I dancing well? How does it look?..”
And there it is, BAM! The head hurts. Because I have no control, I couldn’t see what was happening. I was afraid of rejection or doing something wrong. Slowly I can surrender to the bigger picture. My body carries me. The assumptions I had about myself and the judgment, it’s softening, I can let it go. I felt myself becoming more and more free and my body feels it; I limited myself to move from and in freedom.
The theme was the birth, the mother and the earth. And there was Omma, she danced with me and didn’t reject me. Love flowed. The day before this master course I doubted the rejection she gave me and the doubt whether she is the one. I was done with it for a while and anger gave way. And now she gave something back. My body was shocked and felt; I can move from my own love. The hips loosened and my own love grew. What an experience and insights. Soft power emerged.”- Participant Systemic Movements

Yesterday was the first day of the Systemic Movement Mastercourse led by Hilbrand Westra and Feadan McCall. It was a great day ❤ where I came to understand that what you don’t know, you can’t let go either.

Investigating and observing what is (is) happening in the family system is a powerful way of making visible what is there, but you don’t know yet.

The awareness of what is happening allows you to break free from what is not yours. In my experience, that is liberating.”
