“It’s been almost a week and I still have your last workshop’s effects! Maybe because it was my intention, maybe any other reason but since saturday night, i feel so open and boosted. I clarified some stucks and conflicts within myself. You really inspired me, thank you so much!”

“It was a confronting and at the same time liberating moment, realising I could own more authentic movement. I could feel that my body wanted to move differently than how I controlled it. I realised I tend to make moves by thinking how other people would like to see me, instead of how my body // I wanted to express.. Looking forward diving deeper into this!”

“Im at the moment on the train towards Amsterdam for the Energy Movement Dance class. This class goes so deep and has revealed such important lessons to me in the past months that I am devoting me to give myself more of this wisdom. Even if that means travelling across boarders at this moment. Its the value for me at the moment, that feels the most alive and I am dedicated to expand and deepen my self love. This means learning tools to tune in even deeper into my body, listen even deeper and give my body whatever it is asking for.

I am ready to get my heart cracked open again with the amazing Feadan McCall. Thank you for having created this beautiful safe space within your powerful teachings.”

“Dancing is everything to me: it makes me come back to earth when I and my life fly up side down, it gives me new energy, it is a way to express my emotions and it literally gives me wings. Dancing makes me happy and so does this lesson at the Energy Movement, because here we are looking for what you can say and do with the body and dance. Through the groove of the music, guided improvisation, visualization and various dance techniques, you are challenged to see which form of movement suits you best. That sounds pretty nice, right? Let's try it out!
'Nothing zweverigs, just zweet'. That is what Feadan herself says about The Energy Movement. And it's true. Do you want to improve your fitness, go crazy and polish your dance moves at the same time? Then The Energy Movement is perfect. You do have to be a bit open-minded and dare to let go, because this is no ordinary dance lesson...Whoohoo.. I didn't see it coming that I would be dancing against a wall for the first fifteen minutes of this lesson.. Though I did actually enjoy it; the dynamics that arise are surprisingly interesting.Teacher Feadan builds it up very well by first focusing and paying attention to breathing. From there we move on and before I know it I'm making moves I've never seen myself do before. Mind off and go! The lesson is built up through different levels and the energy that is created is doubled per minute. Dancing, moving and shaking everything loose: sweat flies in all directions. After building up, we do a number of visualization exercises in groups. Normally I find that quite challenging, but I feel very safe and know that everything is fine. We conclude with a cooling down that clearly illustrates what happens when you dare to surrender. We walk through the room in pairs where one leads and the other blindly follows.
Energy merges and you experience unity: special! In short: You end the lesson lighter, freer and charged. I don't believe there is anyone on this planet who doesn't enjoy dancing. Here you can go wild uncensored. Everything is possible, everything is allowed and everything is good!”

“I feel there are so many wonderful things to talk about the experience I had from this EM Creative Potential week, as also being present in the group.

I would start with that I very much liked how the entire style of connecting to our selves, and to our creative energy as you had mentioned previously, through something universal and personal as our breath.
I have been consciously living my life since a long time this way and your approach definitely helped me get as involved I could in each of the activities and routines throughout the week.

Secondly, I thought that entire dance week was well thought out in terms of content, especially how it managed to encompass all different kinds of exercises that could/may come into play when creating a dance movement on stage or for display.
This element of not just dancing, but also looking at our dances and observing the other I feel merged well with my overall experience.
Even though I couldn’t personally direct a dance choreo because of lack of time, I nevertheless enjoyed looking at all the other creations critically and try seeing it as much as I could have from the person’s perspective.
Last but not least to mention, was that there was an emphasis also to connect to others during the dancing, and how it do it with eye contact, and our gait. I felt this realisation came about more in the later stage of the week, but nonetheless, it did come, and helped me experience the over week not just as from my bubble but also overall as one bubble. How as you said in the beginning of the course, we are all on one a explorative journey, within different stages.”

“The day was a loving invitation to meet myself in movements, my breath, sensations in interaction and connection with the group. Moving and standing still in a safe, warm, playful setting. To really connect with what lives inside of me. ll thoughts and feelings were welcome.
Feadan felt very well and clear what we needed as a group. In the beginning more delay and stillness, later also exuberance and expression. Always with the invitation not to ignore the head, but to shift the attention to the language of the body.”

“Through this practice I have become acquainted with a state of calmness, a ‘zero state’, which allowed me to make moves that I haven’t experienced since a long time, as a dancer.
I only reach this state when I’m taking ritalin for ADHD. Thank you for this experience..”
