ORGANIMA//Embodied Knowing
Living in Rhythm
with Yourself, Your Relationships, and the Earth
Reclaiming the Wisdom of the Body
In a world dominated by the mind, ORGANIMA invites you to return to the wisdom of your body. Through movement, breath, and systemic work, you will reconnect with yourself, others, and the natural cycles of life.
Why Embodied Knowing?
From thinking to feeling – Break free from mental loops and access deeper insights stored in the body.
From stagnation to flow – Learn to recognize and transform patterns of tension, rigidity, and movement.
From surviving to fully living – Cultivate resilience, creative expression, and a deep state of presence.
Humans are living, fluid beings—driven by a dynamic core, constantly evolving, and deeply interconnected with themselves, others, and the Earth. Our bodies carry cellular memories—both conscious and unconscious—that shape our experience and perception. Through conscious presence in the body, we can access a broader field of stored knowledge.
In modern life, many people intellectualize their struggles, emotions, and limiting beliefs, even when this creates discomfort or negative patterns. Rather than remaining trapped in these repetitive cycles, ORGANIMA/Embodied Knowing shifts focus away from rigid mental narratives and instead invites individuals to explore their direct physical and living experience. By attuning to the body's signals, deeper layers of movement or stickiness - such as unresolved trauma, unconscious conflicts, and repressed emotions - can surface. Insights that might otherwise remain inaccessible through rational thought alone. This practice fosters a non-judgmental, open awareness that allows for healing, transformation, and greater alignment with one's authentic self.
The Core of ORGANIMA
Deep Witnessing & Expression
The body speaks—through movement, stillness, breath, and sound. By offering non-judgmental presence to ourselves and each other, we unlock transformation.
One moves, one listens. No interpretation, no interruption—just presence. In this space, deep shifts occur, reconnecting us to our essence and the larger web of life.
Primordial Ground: Grounding in the Body and in Life
A central element of the practice is the Primordial Ground
—the deep awareness of arriving on Earth - rooted in our bones and in the water within our cells.
It is about landing in our own body,
our family lineage (for example, as a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother),
our communities (friend, neighbor, worker),
and the larger ecological order - moving through the cyclical nature of life, death and rebirth.
This experience reveals the profound interweaving of our existence as living organisms.
Response-ability
Through our cells we are able to feel where we are permeable and where stagnation or rigidity arises.
Our bodies hold patterns of fluidity or stagnation, shaping our experience. As systemic therapist Stephan Hausner says, "Trauma is an overwhelm within a system that seeks to shut down."
Where is the friction? What does it need to open so movement and connection can be restored?
The insights must be felt; otherwise - a pattern will keep repeating.
This practice explores how to shift from repetition to creation, from closing down to opening up, from mere survival to fully living.
Here lies the essence of responsibility:
accepting life as it is, discern what belongs to you and what does not
& the ability to respond to it with an open heart.
Here a 1000 ways of moving open up - a pathway into creativity.
The Journey
Founded by Amsterdam-based choreographer Feadan McCall, Embodied Knowing // ORGANIMA is the culmination of years of movement research. With a background in dance, breathwork, and systemic work, Feadan explores the body as a vehicle for physical and energetic transformation.
In 2015, she co-founded Energy Movement, supporting dancers in discovering their unique movement language through skill, musicality, and embodied awareness. In 2021, she launched Systemic Dance, merging systemic work with movement to explore personal, societal, and organizational themes. These disciplines have now converged into ORGANIMA—a space where all elements meet.
ORGANIMA is an invitation to fully inhabit who you are—rooted in the wisdom of your body and interconnected with the greater whole.
